Floating Helium Ceiling Balloons
Helium filled balloons floating on the ceiling are sure to create a Wow factor for your celebration.
Our helium ceiling balloons come with satin ribbon that is 100% recycled to give the balloons a truly luxe finish. Or you can choose longer metallic curling ribbon if you prefer.
How does it work?
We inflate your ceiling balloons with helium at the Bubblegum Balloons Warehouse, all our latex balloons are treated with high-float which increases their life span to approximately 5 days.
Once the high-float has dried we bag your balloons up in a large bag that is weighted with 2 x star weights. We then label these up with your delivery address and they will be delivered the following day with a Bubblegum Driver.
You can choose from a wide range of colours for your inflated helium floating ceiling balloons including pink ceiling balloons, blue ceiling balloons, rainbow balloons and metallic chrome ceiling balloons. Click here to view the range.
What does it cost?
Our inflated helium filled floating ceiling balloons come in bags of 25 and above. The balloons are £3.00 per balloon + Delivery with our Bubblegum Driver is determined by your postcode
How many balloons do you need for a floating helium filled balloon ceiling?
To calculate how many helium floating balloons you need to fill a ceiling in a room you first need to know the width and the length of the room.
If the length of the room is 10m and the width is 5m, by multiplying these figures together we get the size of the room in Meters Squared i.e. 10m x 5m = 50m2.
Bubblegum Balloons recommends a quantity of 9 inflated helium filled ceiling balloons per 1m2 to achieve a full dense covering of balloons.
So to calculate how many floating helium ceiling balloons we need for a room that is 50m2 we multiply 9 (the recommend number of helium floating balloons for a dense full look) by the number of meters squared i.e. 9 x 50 = 450 balloons.
For a more scattered helium balloon ceiling we would recommend a quantity of 5 balloons per meter squared.
To calculate how many balloons you need for a scattered helium filled floating balloon ceiling in a room that is 50m2 we multiply 5 (the recommend number of helium floating balloons for a scattered look) by the number of meters squared i.e. 5 x 50 = 250 balloons.
A Warning about Helium Floating Balloons on Ceilings
Static and invisible fibers on ceilings can cause balloons to pop. Your balloons will arrive from Bubblegum Balloons well rested which we recommend before releasing them on the ceiling. Whilst the balloons rest the high float dries and the balloons shrink enough so that the latex becomes thicker and stronger.
Before releasing the whole bag of balloons on the ceiling we recommend taking 2 or 3 and rake them across the ceiling. If these do not pop it is a good indication that you will be safe to release the rest of the balloons from the bag. If they do pop we would recommend leaving the balloons for an additional time and run the test again.
